The first two chapters of the book primarily focus on communication in tourist guidance by separating this skill into communication with tourists and com-munication with other stakeholders (travel agency/tour operator, accommo-dation establishments, food and beverage businesses, transportation compa-nies, and the local community). The cultural ambassador role of tourist guides is discussed in the third chapter, within the context of intercultural interac-tion. In the following chapter, a fundamental question (“How does a tourist guide successfully manage a tour? ") is answered by focusing on the roles, management skills, and leadership of tourist guides. The fifth chapter exam-ines how a tourist guide motivates tourists through various techniques and what it means to be a motivated tourist for the tourist guide. Basic guiding techniques, overcoming anxiety, word use, and body language, as well as the storytelling of tourist guides, are discussed in the sixth chapter, titled "The Interpretation and Narration of Tourist Guides." The next chapter examines the crisis management and problem-solving skills of tourist guides, discussing them within the context of various stakeholders. The eighth chapter focuses on extra sales on guided tours and the taxation of tourist guiding practices. The ninth chapter examines the impact of technology on tourist guidance and the transformation of this field through the development and increasing use of AI applications. Finally, in the last chapter, ethical issues in tourist guidance and the proper manner of tourist guides for unethical situations were discussed.
